Mohammed Shami’s Injury: Indian star fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been injured before the ODI series against Bangladesh. Shami has an injury in his shoulder. He gave this information through his official Twitter handle. The Indian team has to play the ODI series from 4th December i.e. tomorrow. In this series, instead of Shami, young fast bowler Umran Malik has been made a part of the team. Umran Malik was also seen playing in the recently played New Zealand tour.
Giving information about his injury, Shami wrote, “Injury in general teaches you to appreciate every moment. I have faced injuries throughout my career. It’s polite. It gives you perspective. It doesn’t matter how many times I get hurt, I learn from that injury and come back stronger.”

Some Pakistani fans have taken a dig at Shami’s tweet, reminding him of Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet. Writing ‘Karma’ on Shami’s tweet, Pakistani fans reminded him of the tweet he had posted on Shoaib Akhtar’s tweet after Pakistan’s defeat in T20 World Cup 2022.

BCCI secretary Jai Shah issued a press release saying about Mohammed Shami’s injury, “Fast bowler Mohammed Shami suffered a shoulder injury during the practice session ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team at NCA, Bengaluru and will not be able to take part in the three-match series. The All India selection committee has replaced Umran Malik in place of Mohammed Shami.
